As you all know I am addicted to the Flight Of The Butterfly stamp set. My favourite set of all time I think :D

Here is another card I made with this set. Colours used were Basic Grey, Pink Pirouette, and Melon Mambo. The other stamp set used as the background is the Delicate Doilies. I faux stitched the top and bottom by piercing the holes. I intended to sew it but couldn't find a needle. So I then used the white gel pen and connected the wholes with the "thread". I did not do a sentiment on this card as I feel this could be for anything and will emboss in white a sentiment in the future.

With the Happy Birthday Masculine looking card I stamped the calendar in the stamp set as a background on the top portion than distressed it with limeade and always artichoke.

Also used the butterfly punch 119848, glitter, and white gel pen for faux stitching

Sorry guys I have been missing in action! Yesterday I had my Bridal Shower. That was a lot of fun but boy was I busy. Today I am just posting a card I made last week that I had no time to post until now. So I hope you guys like it!

The patterned papers I used were from the collection Stella And Rose - Hattie Papers by My Mind's Eye. The coffee mug is from the My Cute Stamps I <3 Chocolate stamp set (I believe its called that). The Laugh and Enjoy stamp is from Hero Arts (a pretty old Happy Birthday Stamp Set). The yellow pearls is Liquid Pearls by Ranger in Buttercup, I wanted to add these to the dark paper to add dimension and colour. I used Glossy Accents on the mug to look like ceramic. I used Stampin Up's card stock Kraft and the ink for the mug. Hope you guys like my card!

Happy Mother's Day!

Today's card is made for my sweet and kind mother-in-law to be. I used some of her favourite tropical ink colours (Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango and Tempting Turquoise) to fill in the donuts with a blender pen. The Donuts were stamped with StazOn Ink in Jet Black on cream card stock and they are from the My Cute Stamps set called Sweet Kawaii. The background Stamp is a Tim Holtz dot stamp (not sure the exact name) stamped in Crumb Cake ink (Kraft). The Card is made from Kraft card stock as well. The pattern papers used are from the Happily Lost tiny tablet by LilyBeeDesign. The "You're" title is Thicker Stickers by American Crafts in Heart-Puffy Letter Stickers. I finished the card with hand writing and stickles (icicle) as the sprinkles.

My Mom's Card will be posted in a later post (I gave it to her before I took a picture!)

This card I had to lay flat because I made a bunch of windows to see the pattern paper on the inside. Pattern paper from the Damask collection I used earlier and the Stamp is by Hero Arts. I used Stampendous embossing powder in Midnight Black along with my Versamark Ink Pad. Squares are punched with the EK success 3/4" Square Punch. Rhinestone flower by Studio8 (Michaels Crafts). Cardstock -Kraft by Stampin Up and Cream by Recollections.

I just finished making a very cute card. It has a spring/summer feel and I think it's adorable!

Stamp set by hero arts and imaginisce. Paper by Heidi grace. Inksentials glossy accents was used along with ribbon from my stash! Cardstock by recollections.

Destressed & Damask Cards

Hey Guys! As promised before sunday I made a card and am posting it. But I have bad news. I do not have my digital SLR camera anymore :( so I have to take pictures with my camera phone- UGH! Hopefully I can get a new camera and the photos of my projects will be better. So I apologize if this card doesnt look as good as it does in person (he he).

For the Flower Destressed Damask card I used My Minds Eye Best of Damask paper pack, Craft paper by Stampin Up, The flower and button from my stash (walmart I believe). This is the first card ive made with a destressed look and I love it!!!

This second card is a Thank You Card for Lauren who bought me all the cute damask paper and other papers (you will definitely see in the near future). The letters are by My Minds Eye (Hip & Luxurious Basics- Lush collection), Brad is from Basic Grey's Green at Heart Collection. Designs influenced by the super creative Kristina Werner.

The Happy Twins

Today I received my first pack of Kraft cardstock from stampin up and Im In love! This stuff is soo versitile!

So I made two cards and called them the Happy twins- because they both said Happy ha! I chose not to put birthday, anniversary or _____ day because I wanted that second part to be written inside. That way I can use that particular card for anything!

Tri-Fold Card & Gum Package!

Hello Everyone!!

I just wanted to send a note out there to my subscribers who may not visit the physical site everyday (but check my posts in their emails). I have updated the site to have a About/Contact page as well as a Blog Roll with all the links to sites I visit.
Last night I created a Fish themed Tri-Fold card, which means when you open the card to the left you have to open another fold to your right to get the message on the inside. This is great if you have a few people signing a card, or a few messages to give. Mine ended up being a fathers day card- not sure why but it reminded me of it

So here it is:

I also tried Holly Beary Creations new post. A gum pack! HOW CUTE?!?!?!
Can you tell I'm bored of studying?!?! I had some light pink cardstock as a scrap so I decided to use that to try it out (as I've never made one before) and it ended up having sort of a Valentines Day Theme haha.

Happy Birthday Violet Card

Happy Friday Everyone!

I made these two cards this morning after class and before a huge project was due! But I got everything done! 3 More exams to go and then ill be done school forever! and can make cards whenever I want! (aside from work).
Let me know what you think of these two violet coloured cards. Patterned papers by DCWV. Stamp Set Happy Birthday by Hero Arts. The flower on the violet card was made by cutting a strip of 1-inch thick paper and cutting into 1-inch squares and then rounding out the opposite corners to create this cute flower!

Seize The Cupcake

Hello Everyone!

I created a card yesterday that was inspired by the fresh colours of green, orange, and hot pink. The patterned paper is from Die Cuts With A View- The Glitter Sweet Matstack. Rhinestones from Me & My Big Ideas. Grosgrain Ribbon from Offray. Stamp Set by Hero Arts.

The photo doesn't do the colours of this card justice. I'm wondering if anyone has tips on how to photograph their projects? I have a Nikon D60 and currently I shoot my cards in Manual mode for both ISO settings and focus. Anyone have any tips for me? I shot this card at night- which is probably my biggest problem. The yellow, orange and pink hues seem to not show up well in the photo!

Updated: Reshot the card during the day! Much Better!

Hello Braided Card

Inspired by my new 4.5" X 6.5" printed paper stack by DVWV (Die Cuts With a View) Their new Flower Shower Spring Matstack that I got from Joann's Craft Store in the states. I got it at 50% off so it only cost me $4! There are 135 sheets of amazing prints and cute designs.So I made a card first thing after I got it. Here it is: Hope you like! I used a new technique on the card that I havent done before- 1) braiding with floss and cutting and distressing paper to look like grass!

Tonight I had my first crop date! It was soo much fun! I learned alot and met people who have the same interest as me. It was a great night. Wish I could do it every weekend!
