Introducing the Breakfast Stoggie.
In a rush? Need energy and protein?
Well I created the "breakfast stoggie" this morning because I was planning on making a scrambled egg version but ran out of eggs! The fruit and PB combination made this Stoggie my favourite. It was a delicious breakfast.
Here's what you need:
1 - whole wheat tortilla wrap
1- banana preferably the size of the wrap in length
4-6 blackberries or 1/4 cup berries of your choice
2-4 tablespoons of peanut butter (based on your PB preferences)
To make:
Take your tortilla wrap (you can warm it up if you like- May not want to if your taking it to go- melted PB is not car friendly!) and spread the peanut butter evenly all over making sure both ends have peanut butter to "glue" the wrap together. Take your berries and spread over peanut butter. With a fork squish the berries. Add your banana to the wrap and roll. I added my banana to the centre and wrapped it but now I'm thinking it would of been easier to add the banana on the end and roll but not too tightly as you may loose some filling! Try it out!
Hope you guys enjoyed!
Thanks for stopping by. Leave a comment on your "stoggie" receipe. Have you made a similar wrap? I am sure there are tons of variations on this quick breakfast.
