Having a tiny condo means having no space- for anything really. So how does a crafter survive? You have to be creative and make the most of the space you have and shrink what you can. Introducing CraftMates Lockables. I ordered mine from Amazon with free shipping! Yes! and at $24 it was a decent price. Now you can get these individual rows on their own for like $9?
So this is how it works. Each row is removable. Each container is individually locked. Perfect for the klutzy or messy crafter (like me). You just click the purple button on the side of the row and it "unlocks" the containers, pick one to top and release the button. Then all are still locked except for the ones that are open. To close- push the button and close the container. Easy Peasy!
So far I have used three rows but thats because most of my embellishments aren't even here! They are in storage. Yikes. So far I have organized by type of embellishment, but as I fill it up I will do by colour. First row: Brads, Second Row: Buttons, Third Row: Misc Embellishments like jingle bells and vintage keys.
I saw this product in a youtube video but was never told what it was! I finally found it and I love the concept. Let me know in the comments below how you store your small embellishments.
