Condo Craft Organization Part 1

So moving to a tiny condo apartment (490 Sq ft) I have to be very creative on how I organize my everyday stuff, my boyfriends stuff, house stuff, and now that I have moved my hobby stuff over (I have to find a place for that too!).

We have a very wide hallway. Almost too wide. It would of been nice to have that extra space in the bedroom but thats another matter.  The desk I chose for the space is actually two desks mounted on the wall that fold down when not in use (Ikea Bjursta Table).

So the boyfriend gets the left side with his light (my father drilled a whole) and I get the right side. I don't have any wall storage here so I had to be creative. I went searching online and saw a blog post where the cart was used to hold scrapbook supplies and thought "That would be perfect!" Ikea RÅSKOG Kitchen Cart $59.99 so I went out and bought it yesterday.

I am ironing the kinks for what is going to go in and what isn't gonna make the cut.  The Big Shot along with the platform and dies all fit on one shelf.

Right now my set up is as follows:

Top shelf I have all my small tools: Scissors, Adhesives, Blocks, Pens, Paper Cutter, Paper Piercing stuff, Corner Chomper, Bone folders, etc. I also have a small pink bin that holds stuff I want to use next time I craft (either a stamp, or embellishment, colour combo) and my black permanent inks.

On the middle shelf is what will change most and often. On the left I have another pink bin with embossing powders, glitters, stickles, and dazzling diamonds. In the back (can't see) I have various Thickers. In the centre I have my most recent purchases of stamps both stampin' up and other brands as well as my "Go-To" staple stamp sets and seasonal stamp sets. I have my Stampin' Markers on that but I may move that. Most use punches are also on this shelf.

On the bottom shelf I have my big shot as well as my glue gun, embossing folders, thinlits, dies and my heat gun and cable (when its not in use hanging on the cart). See below the video I created to show case each shelf.

I have to figure out where my stamp ink pads, paper and stamps will go permanently. Right now I have them sitting on the entertainment centre in our living room :| What an eye sore! I am hoping to make room in my hallway closet for this cart. "Move over shoes! crafting is more important :)"

Part 2 will come soon showcasing whatever solution I can come up with for those items :)
Thank you for reading and share with your friends who are suffering from lack of space!

Hope you enjoyed,
